A private venture to bring relief from stress and health problems to the edge of the desert, through a wellness retreat, based on cleansing and therapeutic treatments.
Utilizing the breathtaking view and the site’s natural slope, we created a staggered hierarchy of buildings – all environmentally friendly – with the therapy center at the high point, the pool area overlooking the view, and cabins at the perimeter. Combining desert container architecture and sleeping pods, with a water motif running though the site to provide coolness, sound, privacy and placemaking.
